Just started fulltime but now offered ER internship Apr 27th 2013, 08:09 Hi guys, My friend graduated 3 years with a degree in a life science from UCSD with no finance exp and then did medical research for two years at a hospital. A few months ago, he decided he wanted to try to get into finance, but wasn't able to get an offer. He was finally offered a position at a small pharma company doing operations/back office stuff, which he took only because he had to pay off college loans.
