Fellow monkeys,

Long time reader, I have only posted several times. I am here to share my success. I just landed a S&T role at a top BB (GS,MS,JPM).

My background: Small, private, non-target finance grad with a 3.2 GPA. My university only places <5 grads a year in high finance. Lots of Big 4 and tier 2 Consulting firms, so very few alumni on the Street. I was a D1 baseball player and two-year captain while at school. GPA is a result of concentrating infinitely times more on baseball rather than my studies until my senior year. After college I played in the minor leagues for a few years, which ended last January. My work experience includes interning at a small (30mm) L/S fund in between my first and second year of pro ball, and this past summer I did an equity research internship for a boutique shop.
