The online video showcase from Machinima and iam8bit kicks off in L.A. the weekend of November 24 and is opening up a competition to offer a development deal to four talented creators.

The fest will take place at iam8bit's Los Angeles studios, which submissions broken down into three categories: Fan Films, Animation, and Live-action Originals. The fest is accepting submissions under 10 minutes and over (that's an interesting breakdown: the feature/short division is usually anything under or over 70 minutes, but hey, that's digital for you). So far several 2013 submissions have made their way to the fest site, including Saman Kesh's "Controller."

The twist this year is that four creators will be selected to develop a three episode series in conjunction with Machinima, and the best series creator will be allowed to create their own 90-minute feature.

Hopefuls looking to have their entries play at the festival can submit here.
