I saw a post about SHIBOR the other day here on WSO and thought I might add a few cents to the proverbial piggy bank.
Over the past week, the overnight Shanghai Interbank Offered Rate (SHIBOR) has skyrocketed. It rose from 4.5% on May 31 all the way to an all-time high of 13.44% on June 24, before settling back down 5.7% as of today.
