Anyone Else Feel Broke? Jun 21st 2013, 08:00 Am I the only one that is struggling to get by in SF? I'm sure you NY monkeys have it even worse. Granted, I work at a boutique consulting shop, so first year salary + bonus tops out at $65K, but I'm baffled at how difficult it is to save money living in a major metro. Rent [$1,400 - which is considered a steal mind you] plus student loans [$400] already burn a pay check and then some. After factoring in food, eating out, and the occasional bar tab, I'm barely scraping by.
