Browsing around I saw another Strategy Guide from BradyGames , this time they have the Gears of War: Judgment Collector's Edition Strategy Guide for $29.99.
For just under 300 bucks you get the following.

Well I have fallen into the trap of buying limited edition games before and will probably do again if the DLC content is worth it, but this is something I wont drop 300 bucks for.
I love playing a game and struggling through it when it's tough and will sometimes when I get stuck , have a peek on the net to find the last piece of the puzzle.
One of my fondest memory's was playing Gears 1 (since it was my first shooter I played on the Xbox) and trying to kill my first Berzerker , and that ***** killed me a few times , but it was very satisfying when I finally took it down with out cheating , and then paying to spoil such a experience just seems to be a waste for me.
Since I play multiplayer for the social side of it , the multiplayer aspect of the guide is even less attractive to me.
I am just wondering how the forum members feel about Strategy Guide's.
