The news comes from a tweet by CVG associate editor Rob Crossley, who claims that a "trusted source" said that the Xbox event is scheduled for 26 April 2013. He does note that the date may change, but "diarise tentatively". On a related note, Microsoft's event partner UStechs has registered the domain "XboxEvent.com", which will expectedly be used as a media hub for the event. It's still speculation for now, but it's looking more and more likely that Microsoft will show the next-generation Xbox in April. In addition to the rumours surrounding Microsoft's unannounced reveal event, a senior Sony official, who asked to remain anonymous, said that the company's PS4 announcement "caught Microsoft off-guard" and they "definitely ruffled some feathers". Just in time for a Gears 4 release :).
